Super Easy Teriyaki Chicken with Broccoli
This recipe will be loved by your entire family, using minimal ingredients you already have in your kitchen or refrigerator!
If you don't have Teriyaki sauce, then you have to arrange a long list of ingredients to make this super tasty chicken.
•One kg, Chicken thighs cut into one and half-inch pieces
•One tbsp sesame oil,
•few garlic cloves minced
•one /green onion stem, sliced to garnish
•four cups broccoli florets, lightly steamed
•One teaspoon corn flour
•Half cup Desly foods teriyaki sauce
•One cup water (use according to need)
How to Prepare?
First of all, heat cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Stir chicken, and fry until lightly browned and crisp. Keep stirring while frying to avoid sticking.
Add half a cup of Teriyaki sauce in the pan and some water to lose consistency. Now add 1tsp cornflour in some water to make a paste. Add this paste to the sauce and stir continuously. Cook on slow flame.
Meanwhile, add the minced garlic to the other pan and sauté until lightly fragrant. It usually takes 30 seconds. Pour garlic in the sauce and allow cooking for three more minutes. Keep on stirring until the sauce thickens into a beautiful shiny glaze.
Add in the steamed broccoli and pieces of chicken. Mix well with a wooden spoon and cover the lid. Let it cool on a very slow flame for half a minute.
Garnish with green onion (or shallot) slices and serve over steamed rice.
